As the school year kicks off, Roy Rogers Restaurants is stepping up to show its appreciation for educators and school staff with the launch of ‘Roy’s Rides with Teachers.’ The initiative, running September 18 – October 31, offers exclusive discounts and free meals to teachers and school staff as a token of gratitude for their dedication to shaping young minds.

To participate, educators can simply present a valid school ID at a participating Roy Rogers and make a minimum purchase of $1 to enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch, or dinner items—ranging from fresh coffee and breakfast sandwiches to hearty burgers and chicken sandwiches. Alternatively, educators can opt for a 10% discount on their entire bill, adding flexibility and convenience to their dining experience.

“At Roy Rogers, we know that teachers and school staff are the heartbeat of our communities,” said Jim Plamondon, President of Roy Rogers Restaurants. “Roy’s Rides with Teachers is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for their incredible work and ongoing commitment to education while reinforcing our strong bond with local schools and communities.”

Roy Rogers is also hand-delivering even more discounts to select schools in the area, featuring a playful twist: Pins for Perks. School employees can collect limited-edition Roy Rogers pins, increasing their discounts by an additional 5% when wearing one of the pins when they visit a participating location, with the potential to save up to 15% on every meal through the school year.

Roy Rogers’ support for local schools doesn’t stop with this initiative. The restaurant chain continues to offer fundraising opportunities for schools and community organizations, with a portion of sales donated back to the school or cause. These fundraising events are a fun and impactful way for communities to gather, enjoy a meal, and raise much-needed funds.
